Orglamix March 2016 Glambag

Hello There!

I got to try out some amazing products from Orglamix.  I have been using them over the last month since I got their March Monthly Glambag (shown below) which was called Lucky Chick.

The theme for the month was definitely St. Patrick's Day based on the product names and the colors included in the box.  I love that all of the products are cruelty free.  They are also vegan, natural, and made in small batches which means higher quality control.

The box came with a card explaining all the products and with a coupon code on the back of it as well as their social media links. It also explains their initiative for donating a meal to an orphaned child in need for every box sold which is incredible.

Here is a look at everything included in the box.  I got an essential oil rollerball, aromatherapy lip balm, lip scrub, pure mineral eyeshadows, glitter pigment, and a cream eyeshadow/liner.

The lip scrub is called Shamrock Shake and smells like sweet mint and is fantastic at exfoliating my lips.  I use this a few times a week and follow it up with the lip balm.  The balm is very hydrating and smooth.  The lime scent of the balm is not overwhelming, but is a nice feature.

I am obsessed with the essential oil rollerball called Lucky Chick.  It has eucalyptus and various mints which makes for a very calming and relaxing scent.  I have this at work with me and put it on my pulse points and temples when I get stressed.  It is a great natural relaxer and helps me focus.

Pot of Gold is the glitter pigment and it is a bright yellow gold.  It is very pretty, but very chunky.  It'd be fun for a night out or a summer festival, but isn't super practical for every day for my office job.  Catch a Leprechaun is a primer, shadow, and liner all in one and is a beautiful deep pigmented mossy green that is great for any time of the year and for any occasion.  It looks beautiful for all three purposes.

The packaging is simple and similar to bare minerals for the pigment and the mineral shadows.  It makes it so easy to use all the products.

The two mineral shadows are called Limerick and Eye-rish.  They are both gorgeous and very pigmented.

It is easy to get just the right amount of product out without getting too much with this packaging so I love that I am not wasting any product.

From left: Pot of Gold, Eye-Rish, Limerick (limerick is there twice, the truest color is the left most swatch), and Catch a Leprechaun.

The glitter stayed put with just a regular primer which really impressed me and the other colors really last all day.  They are beautifully pigmented and I wear Catch a Leprechaun as a shadow and liner all the time as well as Eye-Rish.  Pot of Gold I reserve for special occasions or fun events and Limerick is so fun for the spring and summer and looks beautiful with a yellow gold shadow as well as browns to give a pop of color.

Overall I am very pleased with this box and the quality of the shadows.  I know they call it a glambag, but I find that confusing since it comes in packaging in a box with no bag.
