Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker

Hello There!

I am so excited to be one of the first to share with you the collaboration that Warby Parker did with Karlie Kloss!  I got a sneak preview of it last week and I have been chomping at the bit to share it with you!

The collection features three new pairs of sunglasses that Karlie designed.  They are so beyond beautiful and perfect for summer.
The Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker frames are available June 10 online and in stores for $145 each.
For this collection Warby Parker is donating to an organization dear to Karlie. Edible Schoolyard NYC  provides low-income public schools with kitchens and gardens, and students, through a hands-on
curriculum led by Edible Schoolyard staff, learn the tools to develop lifelong healthy habits. The donation will benefit two community farm stands in Brooklyn and East Harlem, where kids learn about food preparation in their own neighborhoods. And as always, for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.

A little more information on the frames themselves.  The Julia frame is a translation of the tried-and-true teardrop. From there, they re-sized the lenses and fashioned contemporary wire accents for Clara and Marple. Constructed from ultra-strong and lightweight titanium in Heirloom Silver and Heirloom Gold, the frames feature gradient lenses, available in Violet Clover, Sepia Wash, Faded Slate, Copper Fade, and Indigo Wash.

Karlie said about working on the collection, “Collaborating with Warby Parker on this capsule collection was an amazing experience. I've always admired their commitment to social enterprise and am so excited that our partnership is supporting Edible Schoolyard NYC’s inspiring work".

My favorite pair is the Clara in Heirloom Gold because it has such a beautiful and feminine shape to them and I love the accent of the frame.  I also love the attention to detail with the end of the arms being tortoise patterned.
The whole collection exudes Karlie's personality and energy and they are so versatile.  These sunglasses are great for really any face shape because they are pretty universal in shape.

How I Would Style Them:

This is perfect for a day at the beach or on the boardwalk.

This is perfect for a summer's night out.

I just recently bought prescription glasses through Warby Parker and am so happy with the quality and the customer service.  I also love that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.

Let me know which pair is your favorite and if you decide to get them!

disclaimer: I was asked to help spread the word about this collaboration by Warby Parker.  I am not sponsored by any of the company's whose products I am reviewing/mentioning here.  All thoughts/comments/whathaveyou are 100% my own.
