I can't believe it's already the end of June!  It is crazy how fast this summer/year is going by.

That's all for now, have a great weekend everyone!

If I had a million dollars...

If I had money to burn this is what I would burn it on.

For fulfilling my Wanderlust...

I'd start my trip in London.  My Dad took my brother and I when I graduated High School and I want to go back so badly.

Next I would head to Paris.
While there I would take a trip to Laudree. and indulge in macarons.
I would also want to see the Locks of Love Bridge in Paris.
Then I would head to Italy.
I would definitely have to ride in a Gondola when in Venice.

After that I would go to Ireland.  Gorgeous rolling hills and lots of fluffy sheep.

I would love to spend a length of time in NYC.  I love plays so I'd spend most of my time there or at the museums.
I also really enjoyed when I went to Washington DC a few years ago and would love to go back to see all the museums and sites again.  I'd also love to see the Cherry Blossom festival.

For a splurge filled shopping trip I'd get...

These gorgeous Chloe shoes.  I just absolutely love how these are so feminine.  They remind me of when I did ballet when I was young.

Chloé Criss-Cross Ankle Strap Ballet Flat
This beautiful dress from ModCloth.  I think it would go perfectly with those Chloe shoes.

Tie to Be True

I would love to own a classic Chanel bag.  These will always be a good investment piece for any wardrobe.
Chanel Vintage Black Quilted Leather Shoulder Jumbo Maxi Bag
For beauty buys I'd have to nab...
I would love to get a new hair straightener.  My old Chi I've had for years is still going, but the screws are coming a bit loose.
CHI Chameleon Ionic Single Pass Hairstyling Iron
I would love the whole set of Laura Mercier Crème Brûlée body products.  So decadent!
Crème Brûlée Honey Bath

For the animal lover in me I'd have to add to my family...
I want a dog and I love my Dad's Coton de Tulear.  He's the sweetest dog I've ever met and loves snuggling.
I also love kitties so I would probably get one (or two) more.

Sweet Ear Lovin': Sara Bareilles

I have loved Sara Bareilles' music for a long time.  The first CD I bought of hers was Little Voices and I have bought almost everything she has put out since.  Her most recent single titled Brave is a great uplifting song.  Her voice is just like nothing else and I can't get enough of her.  On most long trips I have her music blaring on repeat.
If you have never heard any of her music definitely check her out and support her as she is just a fantastic artist.
Also her hair color in the Brave video is amazing and I think I might get something similar done to my hair soon.

Another one of my favorite songs from her is Gonna Get Over You.  This one gets me up and dancing and singing at the top of my lungs either around my apartment or bouncing around in the car singing so loud I'm sure everyone hears me.  And yes, I am one of those people who sings so loud in the car and I don't honestly care who watches.

Real Simple
I feel that this is very important to remember everyday.  Always do things for others whether it's lending a helping hand, shoulder to cry on, or ear to listen.  We should always do what we can for others!

June 2013 Julep Maven Box

I got my Julep box for June and I am pretty happy with  my box.  I know a lot of people were having issues with the DD creme and concealer, but I honestly feel they weren't applying it properly as I haven't had that many issues.

I got the DD Creme in Light.  First of it does come out looking rather dark and slightly orange, however, if you do a little at a time it really blends in beautifully.  Sometimes I use moisturizer to loosen it up and have it go on lighter which really works the best with this.
The color looks super dark on my hand, but honestly if you mix it with a bit of moisturizer and blend it into your face with your fingers it comes out looking rather nice.  It does what is says as far as primes and helps my blush to stay on longer.
I also got the DD Concealer in Light.  This one is not as dark and not as orange.  With this a little goes a long way.  The amount on my hand there is far too much, but I didn't really control it coming out.
I find this doesn't need anything to blend well with my skin and gives good coverage on any red spots or discoloration.
I love Salt Water Taffy so this was a really nice treat in the box.  My boyfriend and I ate these shortly after the pictures were done.

Happy Father's Day!

Today is Father's Day!  Happy Father's Day to all you(r) Dad's out there!

Happy Father's Day Dad!  I love this picture and remember all the times you would take us to your work.  I also will always remember dancing around the living room in Babylon to The Temptations.
I love you very much and I want to thank you for everything you've done for me.

Happy Father's Day to Mike (my soon to be Step-Dad)!  Thank you for always fixing things for me and building things for me.  Thanks for just always being there.  I love you!

Also on Father's Day I remember my Grandparents.
My Dad's father just recently passed away and I miss him very much.  I will always remember him for his love of all animals, especially cats.  I will also always remember his silly remedies and fix it solutions for problems.
My Mom's father passed away when I was 7 or 8.  I remember him always reading some very large book or showing pictures of his vacations.  He loved photography and loved reading.  He also loved hot sauce which I remember for some reason.

Here's to all the Dad's with us and not with us.  Happy Father's Day!

June 2013 Pop Sugar Must Have Box

I got my Pop Sugar box for June and I am so happy with it again this month.

The box came with a full size of the Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair Moisturizer and two CC cream samples.
These products are supposed to help reduce fine lines and signs of aging because it is infused with fruit stem cells.  It smells good and is made with all organic ingredients which is a huge plus.
The CC creams came in two shades so at least one would work for everyone who got the box.

I love when I get books and I really like that this is a hardcover.  I started reading Revenge Wears Prada last night and could not put it down, it's really good so far.
This work out DVD titled Addicted to Sweat is great because all you need is the DVD and a chair.  It's aimed to sculpt, tone, and tighten the entire body.  I will give this a go and if it works well I might pick up some of the other DVDs in this line.
This popcorn from Indiana Popcorn is actually the special extra this month.  It is really good and the fact that it is relatively healthy is a huge plus.  I  have tried their Chip'Ins which are very good so I will have to give more of their products a try.
These Project 7 Quench The Thirsty Wintergreen Mints come in the cutest packaging.  It's a test tube with a cork at the top.  Project 7 makes products that give back to a wide variety of charities in America and abroad.  These particular mints help to bring clean drinking water to communities around the world.
Not only are these mints tasty and in such a great package, but they give back which is always something I look for when I buy anything.
I am so in love with this Gorjana & Griffin Zuma Scarf.  The navy and white stripes give it a nice classic look and the neon pink kicks it up a notch.  I have worn this almost everyday since I got it because it's light and goes with everything.  It is a large scarf so you can use it as a scarf around your neck, a head scarf, or even a sarong.
The box also came with a gift card to the Gorjana & Griffin shop for $25 off any purchase.  There are so many great products it's going to be hard to choose what to use the gift card on.

Here's kitty being lazy and saying hello.  She likes to roll around so I can't take the pictures I need to for the blog!
